I am a jewellery maker and obsessive cowrie/shell collector based on the gorgeous Cornish coast. Having spent every year holidaying and doing seasonal work on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, I drew inspiration from my special place which led me to create 'Scilly Silver' over twenty years ago and showcase my love of cowries. My love of the islands began when I was 6 years old and many hours were spent combing beaches for elusive cowries, shells, broken pottery, sea glass and other interesting objects washed ashore.
It’s a delight to have found a way to transform my collection of shells into silver trinkets that other beachcombers like me could wear and treasure forever. The shells used in my jewellery have been lovingly collected from various beaches and cast in sterling sterling silver and finished for you to wear as you wish!
